Social Activities

Social Events

As a worshipping community, we value opportunities to come together for fun and fellowship. It's a great opportunity to get to know each other.

In addition to our regular worship activities, we hold a number of social events throughout the year. Dates for forthcoming social events will appear in our newsletter, on the homepage of this website or on our Facebook page. Our regular events held throughout the year typically include:

Our Christmas Tree Festival Concert including wine and mice pies.

It usually starts off on the first Saturday in Advent at 1930.

(In 2020, due to the Global Pandemic instead of the usual festival there was a Special Service where we lit the Christmas Tree Lights on the Second Sunday in Advent. We hope and pray that 2021 will be a return to normality.)

Throughout our Christmas Tree Festival, the church is open for you to come and enjoy the special atmosphere created by the Christmas Trees that are on display, and our visitors are most welcome to join us for a chat and some refreshments; in 2016, 3200 people visited and there were just under 100 trees inside the church!

Our annual congregational lunches

take place at various times during the year. All are welcome.

There is an annual Pimms Party in the Rectory garden.

At Harvest time, you are invited to join us for our annual Harvest lunch.
